Anaiya Eoff & Mark Daniels
Our Story
Mark and I officially met in May of 2008. Ironically however, we discovered we knew each other long before then. After we had been dating a few months, I was talking to his mother one day and discovered that she had worked with my grandmother many years ago and had actually held me as a baby. Mark and I had also seen each other when we were about four years of age. We discovered that we had crossed paths many times. I worked at a store in the NWA Mall which Mark had frequented during the time I worked there. Years later, I rented movies on a nearly weekly basis at Hastings in Fayetteville where he was employed. Somehow we had not noticed each other. Even our meeting last year was full of coincidence. When I was telling Mark how to get to my apartment, he suddenly stopped me and inquired about my downstairs neighbors. We found out that they were mutual friends! God sure has a sense of humor. He watched us for years dancing around each other, all the while waiting for the perfect moment in time to bring us together. If you ask me, that's downright romantic!
Our Wedding
We will be getting married on Friday, August 7, 2009 at 7:30 p.m. at the Fayetteville Town Center on the Square. Several people have asked us why we chose a Friday night wedding, and the simple answer is, "That's what was available!" LOL. We chose a later time in hopes that many of you hard workers out there will be able to attend. If you have ever been to Lights of the Ozarks at Christmas time, then you have seen the Town Center. It is across from the main area of the Square and is next to Tiny Tim's Pizza. There is a long paved walk going back to a building with a tall glass tower. That's the Town Center. If you are still unsure of what I'm talking about, visit their website for further directions. It is www.twncenter.com. There is a parking garage under the Town Center free of charge, and an elevator will take you right to the ceremony. If you need further information, I'll be happy to help you!
The theme of the wedding (as you might have guessed from your invitations) is the Monarch Butterfly. I love butterflies and see them as a symbol of new life, which to me is highly appropriate for the occassion. The wedding colors are black and white. The flowers are fall colors of deep reds, oranges, and yellows, with Sunflowers being the main attraction. Formal wear is encouraged, but by no means required! If you like to dress up, this will be an occassion to do so, but if not, come anyway! We will be happy to have you share our day even if you're in your overalls!
We look forward to seeing you all soon! Please check back often. I will post updates in the Wedding Journal (you'll see the link above). Also, be sure to visit again after the ceremony, because I will post pics of the wedding and our honeymoon as soon as they are available.
Our Reception
Our reception will be immediately following the ceremony. We will be set up in the adjacent room. Cake and punch will be served. There will be NO alcohol at the reception. I'm still working on the details of this part of the evening, but I know we're gonna be ready to celebrate and have a good time!
Travel Arrangements
For those of you that are traveling to our wedding from out of town, thank you! And I will be happy to help you with lodging, transportation, or whatever you need. Just ask.
